THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

(Starting on Sundays)
Day 1 Quito.
Upon arrival, meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 2 Quito - Baltra.
Early transfer to the airport to take the flight to Puerto Baltra, located
on the island of Santa Cruz, where our crew will welcome you at the airport
and escort you to your ship where you will begin your expedition.
Day 3 Santa Fe - San Cristobal.
In Santa Fe hike to an opuntia cactus forest. Endemic to land iguanas,
Galapagos Hawks and countless sea lions. In San Cristobal you will find
beautiful landscape,Ê variety of plant and marine life, Red-footed Boobies,
masked Boobies, sea lions and vast sand beaches perfect to swimming.
Day 4 Espanola - Punta Suarez - Bahia Gadner.
The southern most island and the only nesting site of the Waved Albatros. At
Punta Suarez, see mockingbirds, blue-footed and Masked Boobies, Darwin
Finches, Galapagos Doves and Hawks, red and green marine iguanas, sea lions
and the famed Blow Hole. .
Day 5 Santa Cruz - Puerto Ayora - Highlands - Darwin Station.
Puerto Ayora, the largest community in the Galapagos Islands. Home of the
Charles Darwin Station, where we can observe the tortoise research and
breeding programs. A trip to the highlands to view enormous pit craters,
lava tunnels and the giant tortoise, roaming freely.
Day 6 Caleta Tortuga Negra - Qaltra - Quito.
From here we return to Puerto Baltra to take our flight back to Quito, to
connect with a night flight to Lima. Upon arrival meeting at the airport and
transfer to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 7 Quito.
At proper time transfer to the airport to take your international flight
back home.
